dramatic dependency rise, wrong answer

tmsmiffs dug up an infuriating individual liberty nugget: More Proof of the Dependency Agenda.  The opening paragraph of the IBD article he links to is staggering:

“The American public’s dependence on the federal government shot up 23% in just two years under President Obama, with 67 million now relying on some federal program”

Fortunately, only individuals that are extemely uninformed will be able to stomach what this snippet of ignorance may be suggesting. I wonder why there are more people dependent on federal programs..Couldn’t be the terrible state of our economy which began circa December 2007? We can’t pin that on Obama’s Administration. Try again sir…BTW, the dependency agenda “theory” (and I am using theory loosely) is pure propaganda that further distracts Americans from seeking real solution to our problems.

The snippet you criticize comes from the Heritage Foundation (Ignorant? Uninformed? Not so much), and you counter with the well-worn Bush’s Fault cliche? I *know* you can do better than that.

“The snippet you criticize comes from the Heritage Foundation “…….My point exactly!I think its hilarious that THE BUSH Administration did so poorly that its has become a CLICHE’! …”I *know* you can do better than that”……Is it so bad that you solicit for insults? Just because he isn’t seated in the Oval Office doesn’t mean his poicies are defunct. The republicans are hoping that America suffers some short term memory loss just in time for them to get in and mess things up all over again. Eh, I’d rather stick
    to the cliche’….
